Description
An anchor line connects the anchor to the boat, keeping the vessel in place while anchored. This 30-meter, 12 mm black polyester line is the most universal size for recreational boating and is suitable for both inland waters and coastal areas. Polyester is strong, has low stretch, and offers excellent resistance to sunlight and abrasion. The material sinks, ensuring the line does not float on the surface and allowing the anchor to set properly. Wet rope retains the same breaking strength as dry rope. The eye, fitted with a stainless steel thimble, is attached to the anchor or chain using a shackle.
- Polyester is extremely strong, has minimal stretch, is wear-resistant, and is UV-resistant
- Ideal length and thickness for both inland waters and coastal use
- Quick to attach, thanks to the integrated loop
- Reliable connection provided by the spliced eye
- Ready for use; the eye is protected against wear by a stainless steel thimble
- Sinks, which helps the anchor dig into the seabed
- Absorbs moisture but does not rot
- Retains the same breaking strength whether wet or dry
- Flexible and supple, and remains so over time
- Resistant to acids
