Rope crafts

A rope is an endless product. Knots are often used to secure the rope or to attach elements to it. Knots significantly impact the rope's breaking strength and can lead to a 50% loss of strength. Furthermore, certain knots can loosen over time. Therefore, for specific applications, it's recommended to work knotlessly and utilize the rope's structure. Our specialists expertly craft these handcrafted ropes in a professional manner. Common sectors for which we carry out assignments include theater, construction contractors, funeral directors, window/exhibition and shop fitting, industrial applications, and outdoor activities.

Our crafts are available on select ropes from 4 mm in diameter and for both twisted and braided rope, but are always custom-made. An overview of our rope crafts, available for one or both ends:

  • Cut the rope and:
    • tying off (with natural rope)
    • burn off (in synthetic rope)
    • attach heat shrink tubing
  • Apply eye:
    • round loop
    • round loop with hook, with or without rotating hook
    • round loop with stocking
    • round loop with ring
    • round loop with stocking and ring
    • round loop with stocking and hook
  • Making an endless noose: the ends are woven together, creating an endless 'round' rope.
  • End splice or knot: the end of the rope is braided back into the strands. This prevents the thickened end from unraveling.
