Tie-down strap

Lashing straps are used to secure loads, tie them down during transport, and separate them. Securing loads reduces the risk of damage and increases safety in traffic, during unloading, and more. Lashing straps have the added advantage of being quick, efficient, and easy to attach and detach.

The lashing straps are manufactured according to the European standard EN 12195-2, which stipulates, among other things, that:

  • Lashing straps are suitable for use and storage at -40°C to 100°C.
  • The color of the label indicates the material the lashing straps are made of. Ours is always blue, as the lashing straps are made of polyester.
  • The maximum stretch is 7%.
  • The lashing straps have tonnage stripes, with each stripe representing 1 tonne.
  • Each lashing strap must be traceable using a batch number. In our case, this batch number is printed on each lashing strap, on the blue label, as well as on the shipping note and invoice.

To ensure our products meet these standards, we have them inspected by TÜV and hold TÜV certificates for our lashing straps.

Ratchet lashing straps are available in capacities ranging from 250 kg to 5 tons, and in one-piece or two-piece versions. A one-piece ratchet lashing strap is a lashing strap with a ratchet at one end. A two-piece ratchet lashing strap consists of two parts. The first part has a strap with a hook at one end. The other part is finished on both sides, with a hook and a ratchet. These hooks can be made of plastic-coated metal or metal and can be open or closed. Some lashing straps have an ergonomic ratchet.
