Electric fencing for meadows

A fence that works perfectly at the start but barely delivers a shock at the far end — that's almost always a resistance problem. The lower the Ω/m of your conductor, the less voltage drop over distance. Our FenceTech cords and tapes combine stainless steel with tinned copper in a UV-resistant HDPE sheath (3-5 year outdoor lifespan).

Our selection tips:

Cattle, sheep, goats, hobby animals: cord — more compact and cheaper per metre
Horses: tape, unless a visible physical barrier already exists — then a discreet cord is enough
Short, temporary lines (up to 300m): a basic version is sufficient
Long, permanent fences (up to 18,000m): choose a low-resistance option (< 0.2 Ω/m) so the far end still delivers enough shock

Electric fencing for meadows

This FenceTech electric shock cord is made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) yarns with conductive stainless steel and/or tinned copper wires. The cord is highly resistant to weather changes and wear and tear, guaranteeing a very high breaking strength, extreme UV resistance, and a very long lifespan.

This electric wire is an ideal conductor for electric fencing in fence lines and pastures. It's an ideal cord for farmers and horticulturists, riding schools, and nature management.
