Description

This lashing strap is used to secure and tie down loads of up to 3 tonnes during transport, or to hold them together. The ratchet strap has a total length of 6 m and consists of two parts, both ends fitted with closed metal hooks, pointed hooks or J-hooks. One part is endless, the other contains a ratchet buckle or ratchet mechanism, which provides extra pulling force.

Securing loads with lashing straps reduces the risk of damage and increases safety on the road and during unloading. Ratchet straps have the added advantage that they can be attached and released quickly, efficiently and easily.

Important information

Not suitable for pulling or towing vehicles, for lifting or for people or animals.
Lashing straps are not suitable for lifting. Lifting straps are used for this purpose.
Use a sufficiently long and strong tie-down strap. Never use the tie-down strap for more weight than specified.
The length of the fixed (shortest) part is measured from the inside of the very point of the hook to and including the ratchet gear
The length of the loose (largest) part is measured from the end of the ribbon to the inside of the very point of the hook
The pre-tension force or tension due to the ratchet determines how many lashing straps are needed to secure a load
For loads with sharp edges or a rough surface, always use in combination with a corner protector or suitable protection for the tape.
Check the tie-down strap before each use. Tie-down straps also wear out and age due to weather conditions.
Do not use lashing straps with broken yarns, severe damage or wear.
Lashing straps do not fall under the Machinery Directive, which means that no CE marking may be affixed to the blue label
