    Description

    FenceTech electric fence cord 2.5mm: HDPE yarns with stainless steel conductive wires. High breaking strength, extreme UV resistance, very long service life. Ideal conductor for medium-sized spans and small to medium pastures. Suitable for farmers, horticulturists, equestrian centers and nature management.
    • HDPE monofilament – ​​the best protection against moisture and UV radiation
    • Highly tensile and wear-resistant round polyethylene wire – for years of use
    • Only 3.8 Ohm/m resistance – very good wire resistance
    • 6 conductors – 6x0.2mm stainless steel wires provide excellent conductivity
    • Breaking strength of 95 kg – flexible yet strong, does not break easily under tension or wind load
    • Highly visible to animals due to contrasting color stripes
    • For short to medium length fences – fencing with a maximum length of 500 m

    Important information

    • Not suitable for large fencing of more than 500 m in length – use FenceTech 5 mm for this.
    • Check regularly for wear, knots or breaks that could reduce conductivity
    • Always mount the cord on specific insulators for electric shock cords, not on standard posts.
    • Avoid metal-to-metal contact to prevent loss of conductivity
    • Use only in combination with a suitable electric fence device that complies with applicable safety standards.
    • Ensure proper grounding of the installation — essential for effective current impulse
    • Always turn off the power before performing any maintenance or adjustments
