Ergonomic lifting equipment significantly reduces the daily workload in our production facility! On this "International Day for Safety and Health at Work," we're happy to highlight the efforts of our prevention advisor! The most innovative invention in the sector is the automatic lever that removes the spindles from the 10-spindle. Of course, there are also many smaller initiatives.
On this "International Day for Safety and Health at Work," we'd like to highlight the efforts of our prevention advisor, who plays a complementary role from HR. He's always lurking around the corner, working behind the scenes to create a safe and healthy work environment. He invests in training and awareness, implements strict safety protocols, and regularly evaluates and improves our processes. Some decisions are highly visual, but many others are completely unintentional.
In our production environment, ergonomic working is a key focus. We try to utilize various ergonomic aids—sometimes with very minor adjustments and wherever possible—to reduce the daily workload. The most innovative invention in the sector is the automatic lever that removes the spindles from the 10-spindle. There are also many smaller initiatives, such as automatic pallet wrappers, pneumatically powered pallet stackers, ergonomic chairs for stationary, repetitive work, height-adjustable tables, a loading platform for stacking heavy containers, and so on.
Our goal is to keep workplace accidents and injuries to an absolute minimum, so our employees can work with confidence and peace of mind. We invest in modern equipment and facilities, ensure regular maintenance and inspections, and encourage open communication about any safety concerns. Sometimes, risk reduction can be achieved through very small adjustments: for example, we only work with snap-off knives with shielded blades to protect hands from cuts, or we conduct regular safety checks to detect hazardous situations early.
Finally, we recognize the importance of health at work and strive to create an environment that promotes the well-being of our employees. In the event of illness, the manager commits to maintaining direct contact with the absent employee. In the event of absenteeism due to illness, a meeting is held to discuss absences and find work-related solutions.
Through our commitment to occupational safety and health, we aim not only to meet legal requirements but also to create an environment in which our employees can thrive and excel.
