    Description

    Lashing straps are used to secure loads, tie them down during transport, or separate them. Securing loads reduces the risk of damage and increases safety in traffic or during unloading. Ratcheting lashing straps have the added advantage of being quick, efficient, and easy to attach and detach.

    The lashing straps are made according to the European standard EN 12195-2.

    Important information

    • Not suitable for towing or hauling vehicles, for lifting, or for people or animals. Only for securing loads.
    • Lashing straps are not suitable for lifting. Lifting slings are used for this purpose.
    • Use a sufficiently long and strong lashing strap. Never use the lashing strap for more weight than indicated on the label. The label always indicates 2 daN: the tensile force in a completely straight line and the tensile force in a U-shape.
    • For loads with sharp edges or a rough surface, always use a corner protector or suitable protection for the tape.
    • Inspect the tie-down strap before each use. Tie-down straps also wear out and age due to weather conditions. Do not use tie-down straps with broken threads, severe damage, or signs of wear.
    • Lashing straps do not fall under the Machinery Directive, which means that no CE marking may be affixed to the blue label.
